Job descriptionSeton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services and more. This position serves as an on-site administrative representative. They will facilitate communication and problem resolution among hospital staff, medical staff and regulatory agencies. This person routinely rounds through hospital departments, coordinating human resources necessary for hospital functioning and patient care. They will enforce organizational policies consistent with administrative guidelines and consultation obtained from administrator on-call. Completion of education to obtain Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse. Two (2) years successful leadership experience preferred Minimum two (2) years' experience within acute care setting required. Registered Nurse (RN) with Texas Board of Nursing - OR - current home state license is required for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact Required to complete the education necessary to obtain my BSN degree within four (4) years of my date of hire with Seton Medical Center Harker Heights Active BLS through American Heart Association (AHA) or (ARC) required upon hire ACLS, PALS, NRP must be obtained with six months of hire
