HQ Aero is currently recruiting for PAINTERS in TUCSON, AZ.
Responsibilities :
As a Painter, you will be required to :
Paint and apply finishing coats to in accordance to blueprints and / or customer specifications.
Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjusting colors and fixing defects.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and / or material and injury to self and / or others.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and / or manager as directed.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements :
year painting experience ( aviation, automotive or marine)
Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings or customer specifications.
Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively with co-workers or supervisory staff.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Full-time, Contract
Shift Hours / Schedule : hour shifts | st shift : : am – : pm, nd shift : : pm – : am; days on with days off | days on with days off.
Candidate must be willing to work either shift. Overtime is available.

Work Environment : Ability to work in confined spaces. FAR Part aircraft maintenance in hanger and ramp environment
