Job descriptionyear painting experience ( aviation, automotive or marine) Candidate should have a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings or customer specifications. Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively with co-workers or supervisory staff. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory. Full-time, Contract Shift Hours / Schedule : hour shifts | st shift : : am – : pm, nd shift : : pm – : am; days on with days off | days on with days off. Candidate must be willing to work either shift. Overtime is available. Longevity Bonus Offered Must be able to work as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Must be a self starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized with ability to multi-task. Must be computer proficient. Physical Demands : The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to pounds. Position requires frequent walking, standing and / or climbing. Summary :
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for PAINTERS in TUCSON, AZ.
Responsibilities :
As a Painter, you will be required to :
- Paint and apply finishing coats to in accordance to blueprints and / or customer specifications.
- Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
- Inspect paint jobs and materials, adjusting colors and fixing defects.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the correct procedures to follow and precautions to take when performing their work in order to prevent damage to equipment and / or material and injury to self and / or others.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and / or manager as directed.
