Job descriptionClean resident rooms : make beds, dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces and bathrooms. Sanitize and maintain shared common areas (hallways, lounges, restrooms, etc.). Remove trash and restock cleaning supplies as needed. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor. Respond promptly to residents’ requests with care and professionalism. Ensure all work follows health, safety, and sanitation standards. Perform additional housekeeping or dining tasks as assigned. At least 18 years of age. Valid Food Handler’s Card (California). Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Negative TB test and Health Screening. Live Scan fingerprint clearance. Ability to pass a physical exam and background check. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Job Summary :
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for assisting with meal service, maintaining a clean and safe environment in resident rooms, dining areas, and shared common spaces. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, caring, and passionate about making a positive impact in a senior living community.
Key Responsibilities :
Dining Room & Meal Service
- Take and verify residents’ daily meal orders.
- Serve meals and beverages in a friendly, timely manner.
- Explain menu items and accommodate dietary needs.
- Assign seating and maintain dietary information records.
- Take attendance at each mealtime.
- Clean and reset dining areas and kitchen service stations.
