Base Salary : $75,000-$90,000 this role is eligible for an annual bonus.
Position Summary
The Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Billing Department and leading a team of Billing Specialists. This role manages the full billing lifecycle, ensuring the accurate and timely creation, review, and delivery of detailed, customer‑specific invoices across multiple markets. The Billing Supervisor maintains high standards of billing quality, resolves discrepancies, and drives process improvements to support financial accuracy and safeguard company revenue.
In addition to managing billing operations, the Billing Supervisor oversees collections activities for past‑due accounts receivable, implements effective follow‑up strategies, and partners with internal teams to reduce outstanding aging. This position also includes customer portfolio management responsibilities, requiring the development of strong customer relationships to enhance billing accuracy, support timely payments, and proactively address issues that impact account performance.
Responsibilities
Billing Operations Management
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Billing Specialists to ensure efficient and accurate performance.
- Oversee the complete billing cycle, including invoice generation, review, corrections, and distribution within established timelines.
- Ensure invoices meet customer specific requirements, contractual obligations, and internal quality standards.
- Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and balance workloads across the team to support operational consistency.
- Identify billing errors, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree – Business or related field
3–5 years of billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations experience.
5+ years of supervisory experience in a billing, collections or accounts receivable environment.
Strong understanding of billing processes, account reconciliation, and A / R collections.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and enterprise billing or ERP systems.
Preferred
Experience in multi‑market, high‑volume billing and collections environments.
Familiarity with customer portfolio management or customer‑facing account management.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
