Job description
A company is looking for a Consultant : Climate Resilient Housing Best Practices Documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a desk review and individual consultations to analyze existing climate-resilient housing practices across the Asia-Pacific region
Prepare a structured draft documenting existing practices, design solutions, and community capacity development methodologies
Facilitate validation workshops to gather feedback and finalize the best practices document
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree in architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, climate science, or disaster risk management
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in similar assignments
Experience in developing technical guidelines for international organizations or government programs
In-depth knowledge of housing, climate resilience, and disaster risk management, preferably in the Asia-Pacific context
Proficiency in climate risk analysis tools such as GIS and hazard mapping
