Accurately disseminates information about all rental assistance programs administered by the Housing Authority, responds to all inquiries timely, and resolves issues appropriately in a highly professional manner.Characteristics of the Class : Positions of this class work under minimal supervision and serve as caseload management experts which will require flexibility to handle cases in all aspects and / or manage more complex cases. Incumbents in this position will follow specific instructions in the use of Authority manuals, handbooks, and HUD guidelines to perform various tasks pertaining to initial leasing through continued occupancy, enforcement of HUD standards, and communication with residents and landlords to ensure program compliance. The work involves interviewing, contracting, assisting and directly working with current or potential eligible program participants. Incumbents may be assigned to perform duties of a lower classification on an as needed basis.
