Vaco has partnered with a small, but growing, software organization in Scottsdale in their search for a strong, Part Time Human Resources Generalist who will be able to work about 20 hours per week. The role is a long term contract to hire position, where the contract can run 18 months in length. This position requires the understanding of California AND Arizona law and will handle typical day-to-day HR activities, onboarding, consultant relations and more.
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist in recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, candidate screening, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation activities, ensuring new hires are integrated seamlessly into the organization.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data entry, and organizational charts.
Support performance management processes by tracking performance evaluations, providing guidance to managers, and facilitating performance improvement plans as necessary.
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
Coordinate employee training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions and tracking employee participation.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
