Job description

Description

The Coordinator I, Human Resources (HR) performs a variety of day-to-day administrative activities in support of the HR Department.

  • Provides administrative support to one or more HR function, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, and employee records.
  • Maintains attendance and employment records, ensuring accuracy of data input.
  • Receives and responds to basic employee questions and requests related to HR programs, policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Processes employee status changes and may assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
  • Assists with preparing standard reports for management review.
  • Assists with pre-employment screening interviews and reference checks.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of HR forms or documents.

Education Required :

  • High School Graduate or General Educational Development (GED).
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
  • Experience Required :

  • 0-1 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably supporting an HR department or specific focus.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Knowledge of :  General aspects of HR functions and support activities; Customer service best practices; Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skill in :  Data entry, customer service, effective communication, attention to detail.
  • Ability to :  Establish and maintain effective working relationships, work in a fast-paced environment; stay organized, prioritize workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
