HR Generalist

Responsibilities :

• Process Payroll : Accurately compile, prepare, and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees using Paycom. This includes verifying all timekeeping data, deductions, and withholdings.
• FLSA Compliance : Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), state and federal wage and hour laws, and all current tax regulations to ensure 100% compliance in all payroll activities.
• Database Management : Maintain and update the employee database in Paycom regarding salaries, new hires, terminations, and employee changes.
• Reporting : Generate and reconcile comprehensive payroll reports, including tax payments, benefits deductions, garnishments, child support payments, workers compensation, and year-end reporting like W-2s.
• Garnishments : Process and monitor all wage garnishments, levies, and child support orders accurately and confidentially.
• Audits & Reconciliations : Assist with internal and external payroll audits and perform monthly or quarterly payroll account reconciliations.
• HRIS Support : Serve as a subject matter expert for the Paycom HRIS, providing support in recruitment and training staff as needed and helping to optimize system functionality.
