Overview of the HR Generalist role :
The HR Generalist will be a key contributor to daily HR operations, helping to maintain a compliant and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities :
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, updates, and terminations
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies, managing accurate HR documentation
- Support union-related processes, including interpreting agreements and coordinating union wages and dues with payroll
- Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and union matters
- Assist with HR reporting, offboarding procedures, and administrative tasks as needed
