Required Skills

Position Summary :

This position will support the Human Resources Shared Services team and is responsible for HR Services and Administration for Traylor Construction Group. This role serves a critical function to maintain standard and consistent data process management across diverse regions, including multiple offices, Traylor business units that include both craft and non-craft employees.

This position must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. This position performs a variety of HR services and administrative duties as well as daily data entry as part of a centralized team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

HR Administration

  • Data Management / Integrity – Front end entry into ERP / HRIS software including employee change of status : salary / wage adjustments, new hires, terminations, address changes, manager changes, transfers etc.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues between systems
  • Personnel document imaging
  • Assist in the development of electronic HR workflows
  • Relocation Administration
  • Scheduling of Monthly and Weekly new hire orientation
  • PTO system administration

Talent Acquisition Administration

  • Administration of electronic new hire / onboarding items
  • New Hire welcome kits
  • Creation and distribution of Welcome Emails
  • Document Control / Imaging
  • Troubleshoot Onboarding system issues
  • Additional Tasks / Responsibilities

  • Expression of Sympathy gifts
  • Other duties as assigned or required
  • Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience

    Associate’s degree in business administration or related experience Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Qualified candidates must have a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task required

    Ability to work with and connect with all levels of management and individual contributors

  • Flexibility to be available off hours as needed for nationwide support
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel / Word), SharePoint, and HRIS and / or Talent Management Software
  • Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone
  • Requires sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and routine keyboard operations
