Company Overview : Freedom Graphic Systems is a leading printer and direct mailer with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. With a workforce of approximately 300 permanent employees and an additional 300 temporary staff, we operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where efficient human resources management is critical to our success.
Position Summary : The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions for both permanent and temporary employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the strategic goals of the organization. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a high volume of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR policy development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Recruitment & Onboarding :
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies for both permanent and temporary positions, collaborating closely with staffing agencies for temporary workforce needs.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and resolution in a fair and consistent manner.
Administer and support the company's performance management system, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
Assist in the administration of compensation programs, including salary benchmarking and annual reviews.
Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs for employees and managers.
Act as the main liaison with staffing agencies, managing contracts, service level agreements, and performance of temporary staff.
Prepare HR reports and analyze data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and measure HR program effectiveness.
Qualifications :
Reporting Structure : This position will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.
