The HRIS Director will manage the maintenance and optimization of the organization's HRIS software and processes, including ADP Vantage and Zendesk. This role will lead strategic management initiatives to enhance HR operations and align with organizational objectives. The HRIS Director will support the Senior Director in system implementation, configuration, training, documentation, and ongoing system support to ensure seamless integration for data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- HRIS Implementation, Maintenance, and Optimization :
Manages the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), which may include implementation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.Support the implementation, configuration, and customization of HRIS software to align with organizational requirements and best practices.Lead the optimization of ADP Vantage and Zendesk systems to align with HR and organizational needs.Act as a strategic thought partner to the Senior Director, collaborating on innovative HRIS solutions that align with organizational goals and drive business success.Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the HRIS database.Conduct regular audits and data cleanup activities to maintain data quality and compliance.Configure and customize system settings, workflows, and automation rules for efficient HR operations (system performance and support).Knowledge Transfer and Documentation :Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Facilitate knowledge transfer meetings with HRIS Team members to document key processes, configurations, and best practices.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including step-by-step guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources for ADP Vantage and Zendesk.Training and Support :Organize and conduct training sessions for HRIS team members and stakeholders on ADP Vantage and Zendesk functionalities, modules, and best practices.
Provide support to HR team members and end-users on HRIS functionalities, reporting tools, and data entry best practices.Develop training materials, use cases, and practical scenarios to enhance user understanding and proficiency.Serve as a primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system errors.Collaborate with IT and vendor support teams to address system-related issues and ensure data integrity and security.Provides the necessary training to meet end-users needs.Vendor Management and Communication :Serves as a HRIS representative and liaison between HR, IT, and internal stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
Establish and maintain communication channels with ADP Vantage and Zendesk support teams for ongoing assistance, updates, and enhancements.Manage relationships with HRIS vendors, including contract negotiations, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor performance evaluations.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in HRIS and HR technology solutions.Data Management and Reporting :Oversee data management practices, data import / export procedures, and data governance best practices within ADP Vantage and Zendesk.
Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics such as employee demographics, turnover rates, and workforce planning data.Develop leadership dashboards to provide insights into HR metrics, trends, and performance indicators.Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.Analyze HR data trends and patterns to support strategic decision-making and business planning.Maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of management and staff.Data Security and Compliance :Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users. Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal data security policies within HRIS.Monitor system access, permissions, and user roles to maintain data confidentiality and integrity.Collaborate with IT and DSI teams to implement and maintain data protection measures for HRIS databases.Process Improvement and Innovation :Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancements, and innovation within HRIS to optimize HR operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and leverage technology for HR efficiency and effectiveness.Continuously monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of data privacy regulations, compliance requirements, and security protocols related to HRIS systems.Experience in vendor management, system documentation, training development, and user support.Experience with change management and process improvement initiatives is preferred.Familiarity with Zendesk functionalities.Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.Extensive knowledge of HR department processes.Required Qualifications
