Our client is looking for an HR Manager and Recruiter to join their Austin office in a full-time, on-site capacity. The ideal candidate will specialize in recruiting software engineering talent while managing broad HR responsibilities. Our client is eager to bring in top talent who can contribute to the success as they enter a substantial period of growth.

Qualifications of the HR Manager and Recruiter :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical recruitment experience with a specific focus on software engineering roles.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for talent acquisition.
  • PHR or SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Possess comprehensive expertise in HR systems and practices.
  • A strong knowledge of employment law and related regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end HR operations and best practices.
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent conflict resolution capabilities are necessary for managing complex employee relations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to manage time effectively.
  • A sharp analytical mindset.
  • Ability to maintain absolute professional discretion with sensitive information.
  • A team-oriented approach is essential.
  • Experience with Paylocity software is preferred.

Responsibilities of the HR Manager and Recruiter :

Recruitment Focus :

  • Lead technical recruitment efforts for engineering positions (front-end, back-end, full-stack, DevOps).
  • Execute comprehensive candidate sourcing through multiple channels.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to define role requirements.
  • Facilitate technical assessments and interviews.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Create compelling job descriptions
  • HR Management Focus :

  • Drive core HR functions, including :
  • New employee onboarding.
  • Learning and development initiatives.
  • Employee performance systems.
  • Personnel documentation.
  • Benefits administration.
  • Staff relations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement HR policies
  • Handle workplace investigations
  • Maintain HR systems and reporting
  • Address employee relations matters
  • Coordinate benefits programs
