Purpose of the Position
The purpose of this position is to ensure the recruitment, retention, and development of top caregivers, and to ensure client satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional customer service with well-trained and experienced hires.
Responsibilities
Office Operation
Seek out and hire qualified applicants, maintain a pool of qualified caregivers that meets the demands of client volume and growth.
Receive signed hire packet from newly hired caregivers and complete the hiring process using established guidelines.
Conduct new hire orientation for caregivers to ensure compliance with the agency policies and procedures.
Ensure all caregivers have completed background checks and registry checks before contact with clients.
Conduct caregiver orientation, when necessary, to the client to ensure compliance of caregivers with the clients individual service plan.
Maintain employee files according to agency operational guidelines and compliance with state regulations.
Participate in each weekly team meeting.
Conduct employee chart audits, making appropriate corrections to ensure compliance with the company policies.
Conduct regular weekly check-in calls with new hires and seasoned caregivers to ensure employee satisfaction.
Conduct caregiver disciplinary actions and terminations due to poor performance or violation of company policy when necessary.
Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas :
knowledge of state-specific regulatory standards for the PAS industry
Skills
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills :
proven ability to drive caregiver recruitment and retention
ability to oversee the onboarding process, audit compliance, and HR systems with accuracy and efficiency
ability to build rapport with caregivers, office staff, and clients
excellent verbal and listening communication skills
ability to adapt to changing work priorities and meet deadlines and schedules
stress management and time management skills

The incumbent must demonstrate the following personal attributes :

possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language
Must have transportation in good working order
At least one year of experience or certified training in caring for individuals with functional disabilities or completion of CSS Caregiver Training Program examinations within 6 months of hire date
At least 2 years of college is required, or a college degree is preferred
At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
Physical Requirements
Light (ability to lift 50 lbs.)
Ability to drive a motorized vehicle
Ability to sit / stand for prolonged periods
Work Hours
8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday, weekends as needed
