Human Spaceflight Software Integrator
The Opportunity :
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your te chn ical skills with big picture thi nk ing to make an impact in human spaceflight? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into te chn ical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a sof tware integration engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape space systems by leading sof tware integration across multiple system and sub-system teams throughout development and mission execution. Your customer will t rus t you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced te chn ology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to grow your skills by merging spaceflight system knowledge and systems engineering to create solutions to some of the most complex engineering and integration challenges in human spaceflight.
In this role, you'll use your knowledge of sof tware development for large systems to interface with multiple teams across offices and partners to build your expertise as the sof tware integration lead. You will seek out and identify integration issues and assist with resolution. You will be the interface between developers and their leads and the senior leadership team. You will create the future of human spaceflight.

You Have :
8+ years of experience working and developing flight-critical sof tware for large integrated and distributed systems
Knowledge of sof tware builds and integration, how to recognize when builds are out of sync across an interface, and foresee the impacts to testing
Ability to work collaborativelyand resolve issues with multiple customers, stakeholders, and sof tware developers
Ability to drive a te chn ical problem to conclusion and coordinate with senior management
Public T rus t
Bachelor's degree in Sof tware Engineering or Systems Engineering
Nice If You Have :
Experience with commer cia l human space flight programs
Knowledge of sof tware engineering practices
Vetting :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
