The position of Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the daily administrative duties within the Banks Human Resources Department; facilitation of the hiring process, new hire orientation, exit interviews, employee communications, benefits, maintaining employee files and records, assist with payroll, etc. The position is also responsible for providing assistance regarding human resource issues for the employees of the bank, and works closely with the SVP, Human Resources and the other Human Resource staff. General accountabilities of position : Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Human Resources department. Creates and updates Excel reports for surveys and reporting needs. Assists in the employment process, prepares personnel requisitions, and performs credit / background checks. Maintains AAP logging for applicants, new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations. Answers phones, directs phone calls, and schedules appointments as needed. Assists with the tracking of various forms and annual performance reviews. Reviews and reconciles monthly benefit billings. Skills / education / experience required : High School Diploma, Associates degree or equivalent preferred. Eligibility factors : Incredibly detail oriented and able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while efficiently managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed not only in a timely manner, but also accurately. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Database Management and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Current drivers license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
