Key Responsibilities :
- Facilitate the plant's search and recruitment efforts, coordinate interviews, prepare and / present offer letters.
- Develop local technical and college recruitment efforts.
- Post internal hourly positions.
- Maintain employee information in HRIS and applicant information for AAP for internal / external candidates.
- Facilitate and track new hire training.
- Conduct new hire orientation including benefit programs.
- Implement HR programs in the area of performance management, employee development and retention.
- Coordinate with office personnel to ensure accurate manpower planning, payroll, vacation scheduling, Kronos and Lawson programs.
- Conduct training for HR, benefits, and other programs as appropriate.
- Report and manage attendance programs, including FMLA and disability leaves.
- Support timely filing and administration of workers compensation claims.
- Champion appropriate conduct during all meetings.
- Advise management in disciplinary matters, and grievance matters / hearings.
- Work to ensure fair and consistent application of Rexam policies and programs.
- Assist plant leadership team with other projects, programs, assignments, as directed.
