Apprenticeships combine classroom and hands-on training with on-the-job experience. Key Responsibilities :
- Basic bricklaying tasks : Laying bricks, aligning them accurately, and ensuring proper mortar application.
- Material handling : Loading and unloading bricks, mixing mortar, and preparing materials for use.
- Site preparation : Cleaning work areas, removing debris, and assisting with leveling.
- Measurement and layout : Following blueprints and marking brick placement according to project specifications.
- Cutting bricks : Utilizing tools to cut bricks to precise dimensions when needed.
- Pointing and finishing : Applying finishing touches to brickwork, including pointing joints.
- Safety compliance : Adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site
