Estimator

We're seeking a skilled Estimator to join a growing commercial contracting team focused on plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. You'll play a key role in evaluating project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting the bid process for commercial construction work across multi-family, hospitality, senior living, and light commercial projects.

What You'll Do

• Perform detailed take-offs and estimates for commercial plumbing and mechanical projects
• Review drawings, plans, specifications, and addenda to define scope
• Solicit, evaluate, and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop labor and material cost breakdowns
• Prepare competitive and accurate bid proposals
• Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction, and field teams
• Maintain cost databases and historical estimating records
• Ensure bids are completed and submitted by deadlines
• Participate in value engineering and cost-saving strategies

What You Bring

3+ years of commercial estimating experience (plumbing / HVAC / mechanical preferred)

Proficiency with estimating software and take-off tools (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc.)

Strong understanding of construction documents and technical drawings

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented mindset with high accuracy and organizational ability
