Job descriptionAgile development environment Using GIT with Team Foundation Server Web development in ASP.Net and C# JavaScript including jQuery Oracle or SQL Server backend Object-oriented programming Cascading Style Sheets and Bootstrap Continuous integration Azure DevOps Writing SQL Server Queries and Stored Procedures Microsoft’s MVC 4.0 or higher framework, including razor Entity Framework data access Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing all levels of an n-tier application At least one year experience using Test Driven Development Using Team Foundation Server as a tool for work item management and source control Excellent verbal and written communication The preferred candidate must possess and demonstrate strong troubleshooting, skills over all .Net platforms. AngularJS or similar frameworks Selenium Automated UI testing Bachelor's Degree in a technical area such as mathematics, computer science, engineering, or information systems. Local candidates only (within 2 hours of Lansing, MI). Position is a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week required to be on-site, with rest of the time remote Working hours Monday-Friday, approximately 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. (flexible scheduling is possible) Must be authorized to work in the United States; We are unable to offer sponsorships at this time Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment. This is a contract-to-hire W2 position 40 hrs per week HYBRID schedule - you are required to be onsite 2 days per week
This is a contract-to-hire position.
Job Duties
- Work collaboratively in an Agile team to deliver high quality source code to meet business needs
- Read user stories and implement code to meet acceptance criteria with attention to detail.
- Review and improvise code as necessary.
- Create automated unit tests.
- Translate clients’ business requirements and objectives into innovative technical applications and solutions.
- Interact with clients to determine their requirements and needs.
- Understand and evaluate complex data models.
- Develop solutions to improvise performance and scalability of systems.
- Work in Agile iterations to deliver business value in short timeframes.
