Position : Immigration Associate Attorney
Location : 100% Remote - Southern CA for occasional 1 month in person meetings
Practice Group : Immigration, Media & Entertainment, and Technology.
Direct Counsel is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join a fast-growing, tech-focused boutique law firm based in Southern California. This associate will work closely with innovative companies, providing legal guidance on various immigration matters. Ideal candidates will have experience specifically in business-related immigration, including H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN visas, and the PERM process. Strong analytical skills and a passion for client service are essential.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with legal standards related to H-1B, L-1, E-2, TN visas, and the PERM process.
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of case managers covering a wide range of visa categories.
- Advise and guide clients on the setup of company electronic-posting processes for Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) and recruitment processes for PERM applications.
- Assist in drafting complex immigration filings as needed.
- Ensure all submissions meet A+ quality standards for clients.
- Communicate with clients to assess eligibility for business-related immigration benefits and provide timely updates regarding case progression.
- Research legal issues related to immigration benefits to remain informed on current regulations and best practices.
- Utilize reports and manipulate data to prioritize and manage casework effectively.

Benefits
Compensation : The base compensation for this position is expected to range from $80,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
