The firm seeks a candidate with 2-4 years of immigration law experience, bilingual (English / Spanish) skills, and proficiency in various aspects of immigration law, including family-based petitions, litigation cases, legal writing, and more.

Duties :

Report to the main Attorney.

Manage a caseload, engage with clients, and collaborate with an immigration team.

Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.

Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings at the immigration court and board of immigration appeals.

Review immigration applications / packets and make necessary adjustments.

Develop strategy and prepare clients / witnesses for court / USCIS testimony.

Prepare and submit legal briefs for a variety of immigration cases.

Requirements :

2-4 years of immigration law experience.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills preferred.

Record of moving legal cases forward and ability to manage a caseload.

Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, EOIR, legal writing, detained, citizenship, and other USCIS applications.

Education :

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications :

Active bar admission.

Skills :

Strong organizational and case management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Immigration law expertise, particularly in removal defense and family-based petitions.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills preferred.

Experience with Case Management Software preferred.
