Description & Requirements

Maximus is seeking a Call Center Team Supervisor to join our dynamic team! In this remote role, you will lead and nurture a team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs / Agents) in a fast-paced omnichannel environment. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and / or Director, you will provide essential coaching, development, and support to your team, manage complex customer cases, and oversee daily work assignments.

The Call Center Team Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that program objectives and customer service level agreements are met through effective leadership and supervision of contact center agents.

This is a fully remote role.

  • Position is contingent upon contract award

Must possess the ability to pass a federal background check.

Equipment will be provided, but must meet the home office requirements outlined below.

Home Office Requirements :

  • Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection directly into modem required.
  • Internet download speed of 25mbps single / 50mbps shared and 5mbps (10 preferred) upload or higher required.
  • Private work area and adequate power source.
  • Video calls may be requested on occasion; proper background and attire are required.
  • Must be available via Voice over Internet Protocol telephony (VoIP), email, and other collaboration tools during scheduled hours, except during scheduled breaks.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Supervise call center staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and procedures; correct errors or address problems as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to interview and recommend hiring and promotion of call center staff.
  • Develop work schedules and assign duties to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assess employee performance and recommend appropriate actions, including disciplinary measures, through coordination with Human Resources.
  • Discuss performance concerns with employees to identify issues and work closely with HR to resolve them.
  • Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, guaranteeing non-exempt employees take their rest and meal breaks.
  • Identify training needs and development opportunities, providing weekly coaching sessions to direct reports.
  • Perform operational tasks to meet project and program service level requirements, analyze quality performance, and trend call types, providing regular coaching.
  • Participate in meetings and recommend changes to policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Assume leadership responsibility for departmental tasks and call center activities.
  • Support and enforce call center expectations.
  • Assist direct reports with escalated issues or complex cases when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all work tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required, with an equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Supervisory or team lead experience in a contact center environment.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical proficiency with remote-work technologies.
  • Able to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to softphones, VPNs, CRMs, and remote workstation tools.
  • Experience with process improvement, identifying operational gaps, streamlining workflows, and driving efficiency or quality improvements.

    Pay Transparency

    Maximus' compensation is based on various factors including job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected work quality and quantity, required travel, and market analysis. The annual salary is one part of Maximus' overall compensation package, which may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific rewards. Additional benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and time off.

    Minimum Salary : $56,000.00

    Maximum Salary : $76,500.00
