United Performance Metals (UPM) is looking for its next team member dedicated to continuous improvement. Supported by O'Neal Industries with 100 years of expertise, this opening will provide you the opportunity to learn what it takes to distribute specialty metals across the globe. Through advanced technology and global reach, our company prides itself on delivering excellence and growing opportunities for our associations.

As a Territory Sales professional, you will manage a territory of accounts spanning Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, southern Illinois, Toronto and potentially other states, calling on regular or prospective customers to solicit business.

This individual would also handle the following :

  • Conducts sales campaigns as jointly developed by sales and marketing.
  • Formulate pricing, credit terms, and sales contracts.
  • Estimate delivery dates, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Work with a talented team of inside sales professionals.
  • Plan campaigns and growth strategy.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products with the Marketing department.
  • Complete knowledge of competition by region and customer.
  • Develop and respond to customer quotations.
  • Expedite orders, i.e. check order status.
