A laboratory position responsible for performing waived- to moderate-complexity testing as defined by CLIA regulations and laboratory policy in an accurate and timely manner. Works under the direct supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Laboratory Technician, or Laboratory Leadership. May perform phlebotomy and clinical and / or pathology specimen management duties as required. Additional responsibilities include delivering specimens and / or supplies in a timely manner with the proper carrying container and at the proper temperatures.

Qualifications :

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :

• High School Diploma / G.E.D required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
• MLA (ASCP) or Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred
• Valid Driver's License required

Schedule : M-F 10p-6 : 30a with occasional weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert / lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and / or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and / or up to 10 lbs. constantly
