Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Ready Roof. The ideal candidate will work closely with homeowners to assess property damage, conduct roof inspections, provide estimates, navigate the insurance claim process, and close sales for roofing and exterior restoration projects. This position requires a proactive professional who can effectively manage company-provided leads while also generating their own, playing a key role in driving revenue and business growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

OBJECTIVES

  • Proactively generate leads through various methods, including door-to-door outreach, referrals, company-provided leads, and networking in storm-affected areas to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Perform thorough property inspections (both interior and exterior) to identify and document damage.
  • Guide customers through the insurance claims process, ensuring they understand each step.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and present solutions to homeowners, securing contracts while maintaining transparency and integrity.
  • Ensure all paperwork, contracts, and insurance-related documents are completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Collaborate with insurance adjusters to finalize project scopes and estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to project completion, and assist with project oversight when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company CRM, including detailed notes, ensuring proper communication and tracking of leads, appointments, follow-ups, and project updates.
  • Stay informed on the latest roofing systems and relevant exterior trades like siding, gutters, windows, and paint.
  • Attend team meetings, participate in company training sessions, and stay up to date on industry trends, products, and sales techniques.

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1+ years of experience in Customer Service
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, business communication (email), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • COMPENSATION

  • 52,000 base salary + commission

  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while canvassing neighborhoods.
  • Occasionally lift and carry materials, samples, or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable using ladders for roof inspections
