Industrial maintenance mechanic Jobs in Kansas City, MO

An industrial manufacturer is currently searching for a Maintenance Manager to join their facility in the Kansas City, KS area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in maintenance management in a lean manufacturing setting.

This is a full-time and direct-hire position. Must be able to work 100% on-site.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities Include :

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and management, providing guidance, training, and support – also work closely with other departments including production
• Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues, perform preventive maintenance, and address any malfunctions to minimize downtime
• Maintain department KPIs and goals
• Lead efforts in diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns, ensuring that repairs are carried out efficiently to minimize production disruptions
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and spare parts inventory, and use data for continuous improvement
• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and guidelines – additionally track safety improvements
• Other duties as assigned by upper management

Maintenance Manager Qualifications :

This position includes a manufacturing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift

in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
