Adecco is ACTIVELY recruiting for a Maintenance Technician in Hampton, VA. Our client is a Chesapeake-based property management company with over 2,000 apartment units at eight properties and over 320,000 square feet of office, retail and industrial commercial space. The Maintenance Tech will work from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. Monday - Friday; including shared on-call rotation evenings and weekends to respond to emergency calls. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn the trade and jump start their maintenance career! The Maintenance Technician will offer a competitive hourly rate, quarterly bonus, excellent benefits, PTO, 401K, training and room for advancement.

Job Duties for the Maintenance Technician in Hampton, VA.

Keep grounds and common areas free of trash and debris, change light bulbs and filters

Keep dumpsters and corresponding areas clean and in good working order

Clean and maintain pool and pool area

Assist in preparing all vacant apartments to market ready condition

Assist in responding to resident requests and work orders in a timely manner

Perform on-call emergency services as required (rotation shared with the maintenance team)

Qualifications Include :

Available for night / weekend on-call duty (generous call pay)

Ability to work in any type of weather (cold, snow, heat, rain, etc.)

Building Maintenance experience preferred (Multi-family experience is a definite Plus!)

Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public on and off the property
