Responsibilities of the Assembly Mechanic include, but are not limited to :

• Assembly of skid units and industrial equipment
• Interpreting assembly drawings and measurements
• Operate weld machines, cutting tools, and other industrial tools
• Must possess good communication and organizational skills and be able to listen to others.
• Must be professional at all times and consistent in his personal behavior.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of hand tools and basic production machinery.
• Must be willing to undertake additional training as the company deems necessary to maintain technical understanding to new and / or improved tools or techniques.
• Must maintain a safety awareness attitude at all times.
• Must be willing to assist individuals from other departments in the area of but not limited to function testing, hydrostatic testing of pressure components and alignment of rotating equipment

Physical Demand : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted / 100 lbs. assisted, Must pass physical and lift assessment

Working Conditions : Shop environment

Training / Certifications : N / A

Shift Time / Overtime : Day shift, Working overtime as needed

Travel : Drive to client locations

Education : High School Diploma or GED
