Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings, focusing on control circuits and motor control systems.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to control circuits and motor control equipment, ensuring minimal downtime in a Mining Sand and Gravel operation.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Motor Soft Starts, utilizing this expertise to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.

Safely work with electrical systems operating at 600 volts or less, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Collaborate with a team of skilled technicians and engineers to plan and execute electrical projects, ensuring they align with industry best practices and project goals.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment inspections, and repairs, contributing to a comprehensive maintenance and compliance program.

Stay updated on industry advancements and electrical codes to consistently provide high-quality service and support for the Mining Sand and Gravel operation.

Job requirements

Completion ofMSHA Training (a plus)

Must be able to pass a driving test

Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Be available for on-call duty as needed

6-10 years of relevant experience in the field is highly desirable

Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally work up inheights

Must be able to consistently lift and carry 25-50 lbs as needed

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
