One of my best clients, a leading precision CNC manufacturing cutting tool manufacturer, is looking for an Area Sales Manager. A bit about the company :
For over 40 years, they have been a leading US and international cutting machine tool manufacturer. They are recession-durable. They offer great benefits and a culture you can build a career in successfully. They are structured, stable, and high tech.
The job :
- Building and fostering customer relationships. Promoting the sale of Company products and providing technical sales support. Conferring with Applications Engineers to assess equipment needs.
- Developing, presenting, or responding to proposals for specific customer requirements.
- Proactively visit customer facilities to review outstanding engineering and service-related problems, including strategic reviews of sales opportunities. Visit customer facilities to resolve complex engineering issues.
- Semiannual visits to OEM stateside and international factories.
- Develop strategic and tactical plans to accomplish yearly sales goals. Partner with engineering staff for demonstrations.
