Job Summary : The Infant Toddler Teacher Credentialing Specialist creates and oversees a system of certification for Infant / Toddler Teachers. Conducts assessments and evaluation of portfolios for program participants using data collected in standardized assessment tools. Collects data for evidence based reports. Participates in ongoing communication with participants located across the state.

Required Minimum Qualifications : Bachelors degree or higher.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications : Must have valid U.S. drivers license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Skills and Knowledge : Working knowledge of computer applications to include word processing spreadsheets databases and specialized assessment software. Ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences strong organizational skills and good oral and written communication skills. Ability to travel with overnight stays. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of child development (specifically Infant / Toddler development) early childhood education and developmentally appropriate practice.

Preferred Qualifications : Familiarity with Child Development Associate (CDA) Zero To Three competencies National Association for Early Childhood (NAEYC) standards National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) standards and DHR Pathways PD requirements. Experience with child assessment and program evaluation preferred.
