Charter Oak Health Center is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for preventing and controlling the spread of infections within the facilities. This role involves developing and implementing infection control policies, educating staff and patients, and conducting surveillance and investigations of infectious disease outbreaks.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and enforce infection control policies and procedures.
• Monitor and document infections acquired within the facility.
• Provide education and training on infection control practices to healthcare staff.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and implement containment measures.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret infection control data.
• Work with healthcare professionals to ensure adherence to infection control practices.
• Prepare and present reports on infection control activities to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential infection risks.
