Eastway Health & Rehab is seeking a passionate and detail-driven Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Control Nurse (RN required) to lead training initiatives and champion a safe, healthy environment for our residents and staff. Your Role in Ensuring Wellness & Staff Education

Strategic Leadership : Craft and implement robust infection control strategies, aligning with evidence-based practices and regulatory standards.
Employee Health Advocate : Oversee employee health programs, streamlining processes and ensuring comprehensive care.
Quality Assurance Expert : Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
Innovative Problem-Solver : Utilize your expertise to address complex healthcare challenges and implement cutting-edge solutions.

Qualifications that Set You Apart :

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in healthcare, showcasing your profound understanding of the healthcare landscape.

Current RN license for the state (MD), demonstrating your commitment to clinical excellence.

Bachelor’s degree (BSN) highly desirable, amplifying your healthcare acumen.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiarity with competency / education software (preferred).

Coordinating the infection control program, conducting risk assessments, and notifying relevant health departments.

Educating staff, physicians, and community leaders on infection prevention and control.

Crafting and implementing policies and procedures for a seamless onboarding process.

Supporting ad ministration with employee health databases and compliance matters.
