Information Technology Specialist VI (Telecommunications) Salary Range :
6,399 to $7,198 per month Summary of Duties
The role is as the Telecommunication Support Section 1 Supervisor, working with IT in voice, data, video networks, and telecommunications. Responsibilities include analysis, design, build, implementation, and support, with a focus on supervision, planning, documentation, and project support. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. At least 3.5 years of professional IT experience involving analysis, design, programming, security, database management, and network infrastructure. At least 1 year of experience at a competent level comparable to IT Specialist III in government. Specialized Experience & Certifications
2.5 years of experience in designing or managing telecommunication systems. Experience as a staff specialist in a specialized IT area, providing services across multiple programs or systems. Supervisory Aptitude & Substitutions
Supervisory potential may be demonstrated through leadership roles, training, or positive evaluations. Substitutions include relevant degrees, coursework, or experience, with specific equivalencies outlined. Additional Information
