Role Summary Maximus is a Growth-Oriented Organisation and the Enterprise Architect plays a key role in enabling this by ensuring that technology not only meets current operational needs but supports the bid pipeline by defining innovative and differentiating solutions to deliver future growth especially in the public sector.
By developing a comprehensive understanding of the business strategies and the future bid pipeline they will assist in creating and developing Technology Architectures that align and help to deliver winning bids. The Enterprise Architect is accountable for the overall design and cost of the technical solutions for the assigned bids and works with the BD and wider Technology teams to support a range of BPO contracts.
They have the ability to simply and clearly articulate the solutions, how they will enhance the services and provide value to the client and participant. The role involves a blend of technical knowledge, strategic and business thinking requiring them to evaluate and adopt technology standards, models, and frameworks that facilitate efficient and effective technology solutions for our Bid Pipeline to be successfully executed. Specific Accountabilities
- Conduct Capability Modelling Workshops and Analysis for Bids and new business strategies : Lead workshops with the business, Vendors and Technology stakeholders to develop capability models that map out the Organisations current and desired capabilities, identifying areas for technology-enabled transformation.
Use AI to further refine and develop these models.
Ensuring re-using existing technologies whenever possible but also appropriate new technologies, that are innovative, cost-effective, deliverable at pace aligned with client needs, Maximus' capabilities and adhere to Maximus architectural standards.
Documenting and presenting these technology solutions to stakeholders and within bids that is clearly understood and articulates the value and impact on the service solution.
Adhere to architecture principles, standards, and governance processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and the minimization of IT risks across Maximus.
A significant portion of that time spent in senior architecture roles and delivering Solutions for Business strategies and large and complex BPO Bids
Experience in creating roadmaps, capability models, and creating impactful contributions to bids.
This includes experience with various architecture frameworks and tools.
This includes the capacity to anticipate future technology trends and their potential impact on the business or future bids
Be able to articulate the value technologies can bring in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences to contribute to bids by writing high quality method statements
This includes fostering a collaborative environment and building consensus among stakeholders with diverse perspectives
