Systems Analyst 3

Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 5 Months
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday), 2 Days Remote

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Systems Analyst 3 to support a state health analytics reporting platform. The selected candidate will design, develop, and publish dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI based on business requirements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience translating business needs into reporting solutions, and the ability to collaborate closely with program staff to ensure accurate and meaningful data visualization outputs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI based on business requirements

• Translate business requirements into functional reporting solutions

• Collaborate with program staff to validate report accuracy and usability

• Participate in testing dashboards and reports to ensure proper functionality

• Publish and promote reports for end-user access

• Work with team members to ensure reporting standards and data integrity

• Support analytics initiatives through data analysis and reporting best practices

Minimum Required Qualifications

• 8+ years experience creating reports or performing data analysis using tools such as:

  • Tableau

  • Power BI

  • SQL

  • Cognos

  • Business Objects

  • QlikView

  • Or similar reporting platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years experience working with very large-scale datasets in:

  • Oracle

  • SQL Server

  • MySQL

  • Snowflake

  • Or similar databases

• 2+ years experience with Informatica ETL tools

• 2+ years experience developing dashboards and reports in Tableau

• 2+ years experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI
