Job Title : Engineering Technical - Information Technology Senior Analyst
Job Duties :
- Part of technical team that is performing migration from Hadoop (CDP) back end & Logi composer front end to Microsoft Azure and Power BI
- Significant data – + base tables, + dashboards and + users need to be migrated to Azure / Power BI
- Migrate / Create new tables & Perform data validation using SQL on both the base tables and PL’s to ensure architecture, accuracy & efficiency
- Validate data use cases and problem solve sticky data situations with team and business partners to resolve
- Perform data analysis and research related to reporting needs and work directly with the business to gather, analyze and understand the requirements
- Perform database queries and database changes needed for the business metrics
- Build and design highly scalable data pipelines using new generation tools and technologies to ingest data from various systems
- Collaborate with multiple cross functional teams such as Solution Architecture, Security, and Software Engineering to ensure the right structures & data rules / compliance within Azure
- Create Power BI data universe, dashboards based on existing Logi dashboards to ensure seamless user migration to the new data (Azure) & UI (Power BI) environment
- Set up the right dashboarding governance structure for Power BI for go forward
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and design visualization using Power BI
- Work closely with users to educate & train on Power BI
- Assist in change management, training and user validation of Power BI dashboards
