Job descriptionPTO must be submitted two weeks in advance and adhere to Reliant at Home's Attendance Policy. When taking PTO or calling out sick, reach out to the scheduling coordinator team to ensure coverage and have someone step in to manage schedules and client / caregiver concerns. Notify your caregiving team of any absence and provide contact information for the backup scheduling coordinator. All Scheduling Coordinators must have a reliable vehicle and be onsite at their assigned community. If your assigned community has a smaller client base, you will be required to assist with scheduling for other Reliant clients and communities. Reliable vehicle and ability to travel to assigned communities and client homes as needed. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Experience in caregiving or healthcare scheduling is preferred but not required. Proficiency with scheduling software (Wellsky preferred) and messaging platforms. Job Summary :
The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing client care and caregiver coordination within assigned communities, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve issues effectively and a positive attitude and commitment.
Key Responsibilities :
Scheduling and Coordination :
- Optimize caregiver schedules to ensure full coverage for clients and maximize caregiver efficiency.
- Introduce yourself as the Reliant Scheduling Coordinator to new clients and caregivers, ensuring they understand that you will be overseeing their care and scheduling.
- Responsible for scheduling new clients and ensuring they receive the quality care provided by Reliant at Home's Caregiver Team.
- Responsible for all emergency after all call's weekday, weekends, and Holidays. Ensuring there is a resolution for everything.
- Ensure all client scheduling, changes, cancellations, and tasks are accurately updated and communicated to the appropriate parties.
- Work closely with other communities to assist with scheduling needs when your assigned community has a smaller client base.
- Report and document daily any changes in client status, including hospitalizations, rehab stays, deaths, terminations, and any other significant events in Wellsky.
