About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Information Security to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices. This role involves leading initiatives to integrate privacy and security policies throughout the software development lifecycle, driving continuous improvement in security programs, and overseeing security certification, training, and awareness programs for employees. The VP of Information Security will also be expected to present security strategy and investments in various company and industry forums and to create customer-facing publications that demonstrate the company's commitment to safeguarding sensitive information.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in designing and implementing technology solutions for cloud, network, and application security, with a strong background in compliance frameworks such as SOC II, SOX, GDPR, and PCI. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with advanced experience in cloud platforms, containerization, and large data sets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for security, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex security topics effectively. Experience with security tools, processes, and standards for engineering, identity, access, and operations security is also essential. The role demands a trusted thought leader who can influence and inspire business partners and leaders, and who is dedicated to the continuous growth and improvement of people, processes, and products.
