You will function as a technical lead of a team of software developers for the Withhold at Source System. The Withhold at Source System supports the accounting and reconciliation of withholding for income tax sellers of California real estate, nonresident entertainers, independent contractors, partners and beneficiaries.

Working Conditions
This position is eligible for remote-working within California based on departmental guidelines and operational need. FTB has a minimum in-office requirement of two days per week for all positions including those that are eligible for telework.
In this role , you will : Use tools to plan, schedule, and complete assigned work.
- Develop and maintain applications in support of enhancement requests, maintenance and operations requests and production incidents.
- Generate and deploy code from test environments to Production environment at the end of each release cycle.
- Create and maintain a variety of low-level design documentation in support of enhancement requests and maintenance and operation requests as well as existing and established processes.
- Serve as support to other development staff, analyst staff, testing staff and production support staff.
- Attend and participate in meetings to discuss proposed legislation and provide insight to overall application directions.
- Attend, present, and participate in review sessions focused on different aspects of the SDLC and production support.
