Position Highlights :
Full-Time : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM EST
Location : This role will be performed at one location (Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316)
Thrives in a high-volume production environment.
Handle medical record requests, engaging with patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide medical information.
Document and manage information across multiple platforms using dual computer monitors.

Your Responsibilities :
Receive and process requests for patient health information according to company and facility policies.
Uphold confidentiality and security of all privileged information.
Maintain proficiency in company and facility software.
Adhere to the Company's and Customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.
Communicate any work or site difficulties to the manager.
Assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
Manage patient health records efficiently.
Safeguard patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.
Prepare new patient charts by collecting documents from various sources.
Ensure medical records are complete and accurate.
Create digital images of documents for storage in the electronic medical record system.
Respond to requests for patient records from internal and external sources.
Handle inbound and outbound calls effectively.
May assist with patient arrivals and administrative tasks, such as faxes, mail handling, and data entry.
Meet productivity expectations as outlined at the site.
May coordinate pick-ups for records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring :
High School Diploma or GED.
Capability to commute to various locations if needed.
Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.
Basic computer skills.
Comfortable operating phones, faxes, printers, and general office equipment.
Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Attention to detail for accurate and compliant medical records.
Proficient in data entry.
Ability to work independently while managing changing priorities.
Skilled in organizing and juggling multiple tasks.
Able to respond promptly in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Qualifications :
Experience in a healthcare setting.
Prior experience in production or metrics-focused roles.
In-person customer service background.
Ability to foster relationships with on-site clients and customers.
Openness to share new ideas and process improvement suggestions.
