Job Description :

The Information Security Systems Engineer will be involved in Information Assurance (IA) related architecture development requirements analysis and flow down to hardware / software configuration items as well as security requirements verification and validation. Candidate will analyze and allocate system security requirements such as those imposed by NSA and those under the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (RMF) as well as National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Common Criteria and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) FIPS standards. The Candidate will oversee and prepare technical documentation (CDRLs) to satisfy the above mentioned processes. The candidate will interact with mechanical electrical and SW engineers to make sure product designs meet the security requirements.

Essential Functions :

• NSA Certification Process support
• RMF Process support
• Understanding of embedded digital design principles
• Understanding of modern SW development processes and SW Assurance requirements (DevOps DevSecOps SBOM Static Analysis)
• Ability to obtain up to SECRET US DoD security clearance is required.
