About the Position :

The ideal candidate will serve as a Senior Project Engineer for infrastructure projects and act as a mentor for other project engineers. We are looking for someone to own high-profile and complex projects, maintain client trust through exceptional customer service, and utilize a dynamic operational- and technology-focused service line to implement solutions for clients. We want to hire technically competent problem-solvers who insist upon excellence and possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Lead technical execution on infrastructure projects : Research, discovery, and planning. Technical configuration, implementation, and execution of infrastructure solutions for a wide variety of projects, including, but not limited to, projects related to servers, networks, email, O365, or VoIP. Ownership of any project issues and resolutions before project closure. Thorough technical documentation. Complete technical reviews and lead lessons learned sessions.
• Assist with the sales engineering process : Review and approve infrastructure project statement of work (SOW) and work breakdown structure (WBS) prior to submission of statements to the client. Identify risks, exclusions, assumptions, and unknowns during the sales engineering process.
• Assist the Project Manager : Support all aspects of infrastructure project execution including mentoring junior team members. Collaborate with the project manager, client, senior management, and other departments. Develop user communication for points of contact and end users as part of the execution phase. Answer questions related to project execution.
• Develop recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement and manage change while minimizing organizational disruption.
• Develop extensive business and process knowledge while working with the Clients and other teams internally.
