Dev Technology isseeking a Senior Platform Security Engineer to manage secure and optimize mission-critical platforms for a federal client. This role combines deep technical expertise in system performance cybersecurity automation and DevOps methodologies to ensure resilient and compliant infrastructure supporting national security objectives.

What Youll Be Doing :

• Monitor and Optimize : Continuously monitor system performance and implement corrective actions across current platforms.
• Application Integration : Manage and maintain integrations leveraging networking concepts such as TCP / IP routing and firewalls.
• Cybersecurity Oversight : Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate risks.
• Incident Response : Develop and maintain security incident response plans and procedures.
• Automation : Create and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline deployments provisioning and management tasks.
• Platform Management : Deploy and manage machines using VMware vCenter Kickstart Puppet Foreman and CIS-CAT.
• Host Security : Configure and manage host-based security systems.
• DevOps & IaC : Apply DevOps methodologies and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within RHEL container environments.
• Monitoring & Logging : Utilize tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK IBM NetCool and SolarWinds for system health and performance.
• Patch Management : Patch and maintain systems using Red Hat Satellite Server.
• Hardware Support : Provide hands-on support for servers and workstations.
• Cloud Knowledge (Bonus) : Familiarity with AWS and Azure for managing and securing cloud environments is a plus.
• Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned to support mission-critical operations.

Our estimated salary range for this position is $116000-$124000. This presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on education experience geographic location and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role.
