Infrastructure project manager Jobs in New York, NY

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager to join the broadcast production engineering team for a major media and entertainment company in NYC. This person will be supporting 2-3 concurrent projects related to the broadcast production engineering initiatives. This person will be onsite 5 days a week in New York City and must have excellent communication both written and verbal, provide project updates, PowerPoint presentations, and create documentation. Project manager will be supporting builds from the ground up and will be supporting engineers, third party vendors, as well as the business.

Concurrent Capital Projects

1. Distributed productions consolidate and connect all of NBC news bureaus together using material gear and working with vendors to connect cameras, control units with remote access. Backend router connectivity. Working with DC, LA, FL and different teams,

2. Control room audio upgrades 30 rock - work with vendors, technical operations (stakeholders), Calrec Dante Sony News and maybe entertainment

3. EVS Playback recording and playback equipment moves and coordination with technical operations and vendors. Physical move from room to room, all of recording software and gear needs to be shifted.

• Working with media engineering back-end systems or Project management in media, broadcast
• Work with control rooms / studios / production gear
• Refreshes, production gear, studio builds
• 5-10 years of Engineering Project Management experience within Media / Broadcast / Engineering.
• Previous experience working within an enterprise level environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with third-party vendors, stakeholders, and strong presentation skills.
