Pay rate : $23 per hourly
Job Summary
Ensure compliance with the performance work standards for food handling, serving, cleaning and distribution. Develop and implement Individualized Program Plan targeted to address vocational assessment and training needs as they relate to the performance of the Food Service Workers.
Primary Duties

Inspect facility (with off-going shift leader if needed) using Shift Supervisor Check List, and General Manager Inspections for discrepancy corrections.
Inspect all employees reporting to work for complete uniform requirements as prescribed in company rules.
Assist in areas where needed, but not to the extent to limit monitoring the overall operation.
Monitor service areas, seating, bathroom, and prep area, for correct techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks.
Provide support and training to identify individuals in need of specific rehabilitation training, accommodation, or assistance to adequately perform the Food Service Worker Duties.
Additional Responsibilities
Ensure pastry cabinets, condiments, dispensers, and equipment, and merchandise is set up to specifications.
Notify General Manager immediately of malfunctioning, inoperative, unsafe, or hazardous equipment.
Utilize available manpower to the fullest extent during peak hours, schedule employee breaks and replace absent employees.
Assist with marketing promotions and catering sales. This includes visiting local establishments and educating our mission and services.
Be prepared and knowledgeable on operations pertaining to Board of Health inspections.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications : Education, Experience, and Certification(s)
High school diploma or General Educational Development ( GED) preferred.
At least two years' experience in supervising a cafe or multi-full food service facility required.
Obtained a certification from an approved food safety program preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
An individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization.
Strong customer service skills.
Knowledgeable in the following areas : sanitation, conducting training, security, food preparation, customer relations, menu selection, safety and accident prevention, equipment maintenance.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software.
