ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM :
The Knot Worldwide is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Inside Sales, New Business for our US B2B Wedding Sales advertising team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Sales Leaders and Account Executives, selling into small and medium-sized local businesses within the wedding industry across the country. You will be responsible for bringing and executing a playbook centered on meeting and exceeding new business goals, accurately forecasting and committing to monthly performance, coaching and developing future leaders, and collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams. At your core, you should value accountability, and people development, and bring a metrics-based, performance, and data-driven mindset to your work.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leadership and Team Management :
Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and guidance to the team of Sales Leaders and front line Sales Reps
Meet or exceed new business sales goals as defined by the annual plan / budget
Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to the Sales Leaders, ensuring their success and growth within the organization.
Work closely with the Operations, Sales Enablement, Marketing, and Product teams to align strategies, address customer needs, and optimize processes.
