We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support the South Region, covering Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, and New Mexico. This remote position plays a crucial role in driving lead prospecting, demand generation, and sales support for Boxlight’s classroom and campus communication solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling technology solutions to K-12 schools and school districts, preferably through a reseller channel, and must be based within the South Region, with a strong preference for candidates located in Texas. Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President (RVP) of the South Region, with a dotted reporting line to the EVP / GM, the Inside Sales Representative will be an integral part of the South regional sales team while also collaborating with Boxlight’s Inside Sales Group to ensure alignment with company-wide best practices. Essential Functions Lead Generation & Prospecting (75% of Time)
- Proactively identify and engage with potential customers within the existing installed base of K-12 school districts and reseller partners.
- Utilize platforms like GovSpend and other datasets to identify new sales opportunities based on school district spending trends and purchasing intentions.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and other outreach efforts to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Qualify opportunities and schedule meetings for the South Region’s outside sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and pipeline progress in the company’s NetSuite CRM system. Sales Support & Collaboration (25% of Time)
- Support the South Region outside sales team in advancing active sales opportunities and closing deals.
- Collaborate with reseller partners to nurture joint opportunities and drive regional growth.
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, and other materials to support customer meetings and proposals.
- Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions to align on regional goals and initiatives. Education / Experience
- Proven experience selling technology solutions to K-12 schools and school districts, preferably through a reseller channel.
- Residency within the South Region (TX, LA, OK, MS, AR, AL, NM) is required, with a strong preference for candidates based in Texas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly via phone and email.
- Experience using GovSpend, NetSuite CRM, or similar platforms for prospecting and pipeline management.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment
